The City of Toronto is looking for a Transportation Engineer (Traffic Signals). Reporting to the Traffic Systems Operations Senior Engineer, the Transportation Engineer (Traffic Signals) will coordinate a team of project leads, analysts, and technologists. You will make use of engineering principles and project management skills to lead multidisciplinary traffic signal projects in the following areas: Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), cycling infrastructure, Transit Signal Priority (TSP), Emergency Vehicle Pre-emption (EVP), LRT and Rail crossings, corridor signal retiming and coordination, road-user detection, network optimization, traffic analysis, modelling, and traffic controller testing and coding.
