Welcome messages
A very sincere welcome to Niagara Falls for the ITS Canada Annual Conference and General Meeting. On behalf of the ITS Canada Board of Directors, thank you for coming.
It’s already been two years since our last ACGM in Calgary where we set records for participation. Calgary boasted some great speakers, a virtual TMC and offered an amazing program. We promise this year in Niagara Falls will be equally as good.
The theme of the conference is “Mobility 2030: “Bridging Innovation and a Green Future”. I commend the Organizing Committee for such a clever theme and for their long months of work getting ready for today. We received a record number of abstracts and presentations, have a sold out exhibit area, we are planning an amazing Gala dinner and awards ceremony and offer a full and high quality program. Thank you to all who worked so hard to pull this amazing event together.
I hope you also enjoy our venue. Our conference is based in the Marriott on the Falls Hotel and Conference Centre. We are treated to an amazing view of the Falls. Be sure to take some time to walk around and enjoy the area. It will be hard to ignore.
I am proud of ITS Canada and our many accomplishments. This is our 21st year, and with so much going on in ITS throughout Canada and the world, the role of ITS Canada continues to gain in importance and prominence. I hope you take full advantage of all that is available this week and throughout the year. And thank you for your membership and support in our Organization!
