TECH HUB

ITS Canada is very excited to announce the launch of our NEW Tech Hub during the inaugural meeting which took place Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
The Tech Hub represents the evolution of our technical committees and directly supports ITS Canada’s commitment to realizing our Vision of being the Hub for Mobility Technologies in Canada.  It is the unified location for discussions, engagement, education, and innovation in mobility technologies.  The Tech Hub will focus on bringing together members and other industry professionals to identify challenges and areas of interest, share ideas, and promote education.  The Tech Hub will contribute meaningfully to ITS Canada’s program and the industry at large through focused activities that provide significant opportunities for member involvement, including guiding the themes, topics, and content of our events.

Advantages of this new, centralized structure include:
  • 1) A nimble structure, able to rapidly identify and engage on emerging topics and technologies.

  • 2)Streamlined member engagement.

  • 3) Direct tie to the ITS Canada Board of Directors.

  • 4) Direct tie to the Local Organizing Committee.

  • 5) A resilient leadership structure consisting of:

    • a) 3 Directors

    • b) Board Representative.  We are pleased to announce that Jonathan Hamel-Nunes will fill this role.

    • c) Local Organizing Committee Representative.  We are pleased to announce that Omar Choudhry will fill this role.

We encourage everyone to be a part of the Tech Hub.  The call for members will be open for December and membership in the Tech Hub is open to all ITS Canada members in good standing.
